Al-Rahma Foundation for Humanitarian Development in Sana'a celebrates World Orphans Day in a joyful festive atmosphere
The Al-Rahma Foundation for Humanitarian Development in Sana'a celebrated World Orphans Day in the presence of a number of guests and benefactors in a joyful festive atmosphere filled with joy, cheer, and divine happiness.
The festival featured various performances by the foundation's young talents, as well as numerous folkloric and cultural performances and a reportage that showed the extent of the foundation's interest in building religious, moral, and educational foundations for orphans, preserving religious and humanitarian values and principles, and upholding their Yemeni identity of faith and keeping pace with scientific and knowledge, religious sciences, the Holy Quran, and its sciences.
At the festival, the chair of the foundation's board of directors, Ruqaya Abdullah Al-Hajri, welcomed all attendees and the entire foundation staff.
She emphasized that Eid is an important occasion and a day of joy and happiness for adults and children alike, and a day of obedience after the month of fasting, which confirms the continuation of obedience to God.
She said that God has imposed obedience upon us, and we must adhere to it throughout our lives in order to attain all that is good and become creators of divine happiness and teachers to future generations that happiness is obedience, that we should be among those who pray for mercy because mercy is obedience, and that we should be merciful among ourselves so that those around us may live in joy, happiness, and delight
She praised the efforts of all the generous and compassionate people who care for orphans and meet their living needs, rehabilitate them, and educate them so that they may be creators of happiness, joy, and pleasure in the future.
